Re: blogger death threats? What?

Dude. Guardian. One of the first things that happens in situations like this is exactly what you're doing: people call the victim a big manipulative liar who's probably doing this for attention. Her posts both alluded to the fact that she has contacted the authorities and taken action to protect he...

Re: blogger death threats? What?

My initial thought on this... I'm honestly wondering on human stupidity. The blogger get death threats and instead of doing something against it, the gal write another blog entry and whine about it. Just a question from these so called scared bloggers. If the threat is so real and not they invented ...

Re: Writing a Trilogy

I say the same what Polymath said with a slight add-on; each of the novels should have a "beginning, middle and an ending" structure, regardless they're not standalone. I'm also writing a trilogy and this part was one of the hardest, to keep this "sub-structure", while you're als...

Re: Quality and Quantity of Dialogue...

It depends. There are no true rules for this as different scenarions are requiring different approaches. Write as you feel as writing is about imagination and not about rules. In this case you must feel what is the best for your story. As Polymath said dialogues is one of the most useful narrative. ...

Sneak Peek blogs?

Does anyone know a fantasy site or a blogger who is doing sneak peek reviews about upcoming fantasy novels? Or is there anyone here who would read and write a sneak peek review about the first three chapters of my upcoming fantasy trilogy? Here is the website of the novel; http://www.crystalshadeang...

Re: Final Cover - Opinion needed

They remind me of video game covers, very eye catching. I worked in various area of the gaming industry for few years, marketing included. The basic idea for the colors and the entire layout came from there, from that experience. :) I think it would stand out on a shelf or in a list of other books....

Re: Final Cover - Opinion needed

Sometimes we call them as "Angeni Blue", "Angeni Gold" and "Angeni Red" after the covers, but officially they don't have any fancy title. Volume 1, 2 and 3 is their name. Personally I don't feel the necessity to create a name for the different volumes (Afterall, It's on...

Final Cover - Opinion needed

It seems these are going to be the final covers for my trilogy, Crystal Shade. Elegant, but also mysterious, nothing fancy; a symbol easy to recognize (A symbol what the readers also going to understand from the story.). I'm curious what you think. http://www.crystalshadeangeni.com/promo/CSAngeniCov...
