I think I aim more for breaking the reader's heart, than for getting them to cry. what I mean by that - I want to the writing to be so poignant, it breaks their heart. Hmmm. I suspect this is deliberate.

What you notice about the book is who wrote it. There's really nothing else to the cover. I think they are marketing this on name recognition = on the idea that people will buy the book because of who wrote it.
