Adverbs and adjectives galore?
I did one whole read-through only looking for and removing adverbs. Cut a few hundred words.

And Arial is a small font compared to your standard Times New Roman. The number would be skewed the other way if you wrote in a font like Courier New, which is a bigger font.

The first one wasn't so bad, it just said I didn't suit her style, but the second one said that my story didn't grab his imagination. Now I am having a crisis of confidence wondering if I have written anything worthwhile! First off, things like the grabbing of imaginations are completely subjective...
