i like hot chocolate with a little (or a lot, depending on my mood and the need) of royal crown. it's soooooo good.

i've also fallen in love with that drink that tastes like chocolate cake... mmm....

i've made a whole soundtrack for 2 books (one still in idea form). i've even daydreamed about writing the artists and asking for their permission to use the music when the book is made into a movie.

Re: Creating Characters

for some reason, the protagonist always pops into my head, and then s/he fills in the negative space around the plot. for my WIP, i din't even know who the real villain was until like 4 years after initially starting it (i was in high school, leave me be! :-D). all at once, my protag told me that i ...

Re: "View From The Edge of the World" Query

I've gotten a few form rejection letters so far, and I'm trying to figure out if it's the story, my writing.... or the query letter. Feel free to rip into the letter-- I see this as a very "technical" bit of writing, and will not take anything personally! Also, since English isn't my first language...

Re: Just for fun: What movie stars would be best for your MS?

i can only come up with 2: sean bean as my antagonist, cause he plays an awesome villain. i want colin farrel as one of the minor characters--a sly, vain, witty human-horse mix. every time i write for that character, i think of him. apart from the good scientist, everyone just has to look good as th...
