Just thinking about this skit sends me into a fit of hysterics.

Re: An essential character I don't know

Lunch was spent with petty, passive aggressive remarks flying every which way about her but never at her. She ended up going home early because she couldn't stop sobbing. I laugh now when I see young girls doing this, because it is such a silly thing to do. Then get sad when I remember I was the sa...

Re: An essential character I don't know

I would also add petty and vindictive. That goes along with what Sommer said. If you did not fit in to your crowd of friends, there would be hell to pay. There are also girls at the other end of the spectrum from what Sommer described-- the girls that develop too early. I was one of those, and I got...

Yea, that one did look good. It is now on my Amazon wishlist. I have never read anything by Melina Marchetta, but that will soon change. I'm so behind on YA books, but I plan to catch up this year. That's awesome! Tell me what you end up reading. I love talking to other YA readers. I will! There ar...

Sommer, I just looked at your new blog post, and you have some pretty interesting books on there. I am going to have to check a few of them out!

Re: Morning Coffee

I'm not ready to even consider getting a Star Trek datapad. Can me when they've perfected the head-jacks. YES PLEASE. I will be first in line for a data jack in the back of my head. Also for implantable computers in my eyeballs. I'm a gadget-girl. I get starry-eyed at even the mention of sci-fi lev...

Re: Morning Coffee

I've decided I want a Kindle and will buy one this year for myself. I love real physical books and all, but I buy and go through so many books that I'm running out of space big time and my office has become so overwhelmed by books that I can no longer use my office. I've never been against ereaders...

I got a kindle. I wasn't sure I was going to like it, but now that I have it I do. Still not giving up my physical books though.

I'm too poor to go to the coffee shop across the street. Which is sad, because they make fabulous coffee.

There was one backstage at a venue, and I swear I drank thirty cups of tea and coffee because I couldn't stop using it.
