Re: #YASaves, Twitter Response to WSJ Article
5. She assumes that talking about dark subjects glorifies them. As if reading a book is going to influence you to start cutting or turn you into a deprave psychopath who goes out on a rape and pillaging spree (exaggerated, I know. But my curiosity and love for Vikings did not make me want to be one...

Re: #YASaves, Twitter Response to WSJ Article
Wow. And I love the way she assumes this: I also don't believe that the vast majority of American teenagers live in anything like hell. Adolescence can be a turbulent time, but it doesn't last forever and often—leaving aside the saddest cases—it feels more dramatic at the time than it will in retros...

Re: Those ghastly -ly words
Well, yes, and I had about 1300 as well, for an MS that is 115000 words. That's a very small amount considering.

Re: Which Celebrity Would You Eat?
Well, that would be great for my Nephilim. They wouldn't have to farm then, but I'm sure (ah, yes) they would have a bit of an aftertaste. Like a chemically nastiness. Hm...the question is, of course, how far back can you go? With DNA, could you clone famous dead people that DNA had been recovered o...

Re: Anyone up for a Meet 'n' Greet?
Another reason I shouldn't go. Everytime money is involved I tend to win things. I once put money on something I thought was pretty on a roulette wheel and I ended up tripling it. Because I thought it was pretty and had no idea what I was doing. Mind you, if I understand what I'm doing, it doesn't w...

Re: Those ghastly -ly words
You know, if I paid so close attention that I could tell what an adjective was from an adverb, I think I might go insane. I just let the words naturally flow and have the muses tell me what they want to say. If the sentence sounds good, great. If it doesn't and there's a green squiggly under it, the...

Re: Why food is more important than sex
I think the only time food moves my plot along is when Edward (God, no, not named after that one  ) von Giovanni is entertaining his soon to be breakfast and when I'm describing human food. As in, actual people being eaten. Yum. :o Oh, and Tissy's insatiable love for rocks and shells. We're not...

Re: Blog Questions
There's a lot of websites you can use to share media from, like rapid share and media fire, but I have my own website I pay for (because it's cheaper in the long run to have a place to store things like pictures and music files...).

They are molded resin dolls from overseas BJD companies, then I paint their faces on and customize them (hair, eyes, and clothing). For reference, one character I have is this mold . Cherishdoll Hope Type Favian, only he was blank and naked when I got him. I did all the work and made this . So it's ...

Re: First round of edits - a long way to go!
Congrats for reaching the insanity phase~! I'm one of those crazy people that happen to love the edit process. The scratching through the MS with a red ink pen one, two, three times. Oh, it's loverly. It's the rewrite I can't get off my butt to do. XD Now if I could only get my brain to work o...

Re: Why food is more important than sex
Actually, I think I write about eating too much, and my dietician that I went to for an eating disorder a couple years back said it was because I was obsessing about food. So if you write about it, it's because you're thinking about it, ie - you're hungry, go eat.

Cover Copyright Question
Basic and simple question. It's been debated I think, but never actually answered over on the doll forum I frequent. What is the copyright of a photograph of a doll I take? And if I wanted to use said photograph for business purposes, is there something I have to do? After all, there are a ton of co...
