Re: What genre do you read the most?

YA fantasy. I would like to start reading more urban/contemporary fantasy but I love fantasy set in entirely created worlds.

There's a smattering of adult fantasy in my reads as well. (By adult I don't mean racy.)

Re: What are you reading now?

Recently finished You Wish by Mandy Hubbard, Magic Under Glass by Jaclyn Dolamore, and Aurelia by Anne Osterlund. I'll likely move on to Princess of the Midnight Ball by Jessica Day George or The Fairy Godmother by Mercedes Lackey.

Re: Do y'all do this?

I am dying to do some of the research I want to do for the book I plan to revise here shortly. The MC is in the air force (flight simulator anyone?) then goes to NASA (hello vomit comet). He fences and competes in archery (or did at one point). I'd love to experience all these things, but funds are ...

Re: Does anyone ever lose that spark?

I have. It's why I now have an abandoned novel and several short stories that sit unfinished on my hard drive.

Re: Writing and Resolutions

I posted my goals on my blog, but the main ones are to revise and query the book I finished last summer. I also intend to write 1 or 2 more books this year, just to prove to myself that I can write multiples in the same year. The other goal is to get one poetry collection publishing-ready and attemp...

Re: Blog Questions

LOL Margo. That just makes me think of this game I played on my computer back when I still had a PC. It was a fantasy RPG that had a group of militant squirrels. They were my favorite part of the first two games in the series.

Re: Blog Questions

I haven't been paying too much attention to traffic sources for the blog because I've been such a horrible blog friend of late. As for the little progress bars, here's where I got mine. http://www.licketyknit.com/progressbars.html Here's a link to a handy graphic of HTML color codes so you can chang...
