and i'm third-ing the percy jackson series. my seven year old has read the series twice this summer, and he's head over heels about it.
when i was that age i loved the babysitter's club series.

perhaps this is a thread where everyone is saying the same thing, but in a different way. no one thinks that we should always default to cliche. no one thinks we should overstretch for unique writing. i think we all agree the middle ground is most desirable. but i wonder about two points of discrepe...
