Re: Using Google Docs to write MS? Input from NATHAN??
Thanks Nathan and everyone for your input. I was thinking that Google Docs does have beta reader benefits for sure, but I think I'll stick to Word like I've done in the past and then maybe do the backup on G Docs. Or...I suppose I have my Mac Cloud I could put it on. Either way, Word it is until I h...

Using Google Docs to write MS? Input from NATHAN??
I am done outlining and creating my characters and am now ready to begin the actual writing of my next project. Since I have multiple computers, both Mac and PC, I don't want to use Word and memory sticks to move about and write. I would love to just sit down at any computer and use Google Docs. For...

Re: Lost - Possible Spoilers!
ABC...you are totally my kind of LOST viewer. I feel exactly the same. I like to watch the show and let it unfold for me, but I do have the same kind of questions as you that just better be answered or else. I can't live on theory forever! And after reading Steppe's views, I'm "lost" even ...

Re: Lost - Possible Spoilers!
Confused even more from tonight's LOST, I wondered where I could go online for answers. I came here first...voila! I was hoping you'd just go ahead and have Thursdays' blog posts be dedicated to LOST.
You didn't know you were the "go to" guy for all things LOST, did you?

Re: Switching POVs = manuscript death?
I did that with my first draft of my MG ms. I decided that it was too much for 9-12 year olds to follow. I think it actually worked, but I went back and moved it all into 1st person. Wasn't an easy task. I'm still working on it, since there's a lot of revising going on too. I think it will be better...

Very cool, Marilyn! I see your name all of the time in the comments on the blog, but it's nice to know your backstory. Far more exciting than mine. I love it!

The Unpublishable
You know how you've got two or three or twenty ideas for stories at all times in your head? Me too. I usually just have ideas, but sometimes I categorize them by title first and let the ideas come out of that. The other day, after a particularly "off" day in the Vacuumqueen household, a ne...
