Re: How old are you?

I'm 63 5/6 (64 in August). I wrote my first short story when I was 6 and was thrilled when Miss Jeffers read it to my first grade class. I perfected my typing on a 1924 Underwood which now resides in my basement dungeon/writers cubby. It has a cast iron frame and weighs 75 pounds. I may not be the o...

Re: Nominate Your First Page for a Critique on the Blog

Re: When I grow up I want to be...

I wrote my first story in the first grade and the teacher read it to the class. I was hooked. At various times I changed my mind and wanted to be a pilot, actor, international bum (almost made that one--twenty years in the military). But the only thing, other than a writer, I've wanted to be when I ...

Re: Monkeys vs. Bears

This is a trick question. Depends on several factors such as types of bear and type of monkey. Kodiak vs Capucin, I'd go with Kodiak. Chimp against a Koala. Probably chimp. Environment would play an important part, too. Most bears can outrun monkeys so on a treeless plain I'd go for bear but in a fo...
