Thanks for the feedback; will draft up another in the near future. Shah, I think you may have posted in the wrong thread :)

Re: What are you reading now?

Recently finished Red Country by Joe Abercrombie. Brilliant book that combines the Wild West with medieval fantasy.

Query - Supernatural Thriller for Adults

Hi, I'm looking for some feedback on my blurb (or what I like to call a "written teaser trailer") for a yet untitled (three years and still no title definitive title...) adult supernatural thriller. "An Angel with no memory. An ex soldier who can't let go. A patient at a mental health...

Re: Looking for UF/Paranormal fan to trade 1st 50 pgs

I'm happy to read through the first ten thousand or so words if you're still looking for feedback. Re: Prologue: YA Dystopian - The Underground

Excerpt from Chap. 1 of Supernatural thriller - 580 words

This is an excerpt from the opening of a second part in a trilogy. Currently finishing off the first story with edits (snore). It's aimed for adults and contains language that some might find offensive. Enjoy, and all pointers will be appreciated. Thanks. Chapter One Sheppard was bleeding. He couldn...

Re: Page 1 of "I am Alone"

My 2 cents: 1) I liked the quick sentencing; too the point, neat and short. 2) Rags? As in head and shoulders/ghillie suit? I thought he was in a building; ghillies aren't that good in urban areas and it'd be hard to get rid of them quickly. Ghillie suits are also heavy and hot as buggery; something...

Re: What's your editing style?

I've never even thought about printing it off and then penning my thoughts down in red...

It'll make it easier. I usually get my laptop out, make a pot of tea and put a film on for some distraction every ten minutes or so.
