Courtroom drama less than 900 words
A very red in the face Redd continued to debate the head sage in front of the emperor upon his elaborate altar/throne of pillows and silk satins. And with all the sages seated in choir like fashion, solemnly and stoically behind him within the highly vaulted background. Dope was handled roughly in b...

Re: Game of Thrones
This is true. Important aspects of the plot should not be sacrificed for the sake of more action. Still, I would hate to read the parts where Ned, the hand of the king, is sometimes in a single room exchanging lots of dialogue with other characters for a long time. Those and other parts just bore me...

Re: What is your writing weakness? (Let's call this therapy)
Yeah me too. I have been told that I have a good imagination but my writing still needs some progressive honing. Being that I don't consider myself an English literary expert anyway I took it as a fair compliment.

Re: Game of Thrones
I think the presentation and overall acting in the TV series is up to par. Its a little plot heavy for my tastes with characters deliberating back and forth in dialogue. Action sequences are great, but I would like to see more of them. If you add 50% more action, and 50% less plot and talking, then ...

Re: Dragonlance
I remember reading those back in the 90's. In a way, it has influenced my own writing, despite that it is a cartoonishly violent parody/satire of the genre it was in.

Re: What do you do well?
I like dialogue and depicting violent action the best. Within the context of fiction/fantasy of course.

Re: What is your writing weakness? (Let's call this therapy)
I like to use the words and, then, moment, look, a little too much. I overuse adjectives and adverbs a lot as well.

Re: My Self-Publishing Experiment - Initial Results.
I'm unsure about the whole Facebook/Twitter thing. So far I have gone directly to various fantasy/fiction and writing forums with the intent to spark some type of interest in my debut 1st volume book. I guess if I establish some type of niche following first, then facebook/twitter makes sense. Its j...

I self published through CreateSpace. I might go through them again for my second volume. Though I have heard Lightning Source and Lulu are credible self publishing companies as well.

Re: Getting the word out for what I got.
LOL! You and I both. To put it in a nutshell, I am in the process of writing the anti Game of Thrones fantasy series. So far I have learned there is hardly anybody doing fiction/fantasy spoofs anymore. I guess it just means I got the market cornered if there was a market I mean haha.

Getting the word out for what I got.
I have just recently self published my debut first volume novel that is basically a parody/spoof of the fiction/fantasy genre. I have already received positive reviews for it. My question is where are other websites or forums that I have not been to yet where I can blog or discuss about what I have ...
