Re: Query help: Waiting for April
Hi, Jaime I'm no expert but, here goes. I think you've made a great start here. Your opening sentence is terrific--it hooked me. But then I got a little confused. There are POV issues. I entered the second sentence assuming I was with April only to discover I was now with Scott forcing me to go back...

Re: Municipal Water and You
If I knew what half those things were, I'd probably be more scared. Having said that, I'm in Annapolis, MD, and it doesn't seem to be too bad here, which is a huge shock because the water is putrid! (Probably not reading the numbers right).

Re: Questions from a first timer.
Hi, Crystal. Congratulations--you've taken the first step. (I hope someone's warned you that there's NO going back now--EVER!) My advice to a first timer? Commit to getting your novel written. Don't listen to the naysayers, been there/done that 'it's impossible to get published' crowd. Get what info...

Re: Do you ever feel you're getting worse?
You beat the crazies with blind faith. You put your head down, turn the music up, and get the damn thing written. Eventually you'll push through the slump. Promise.
