Re: Possible to re-submit query?
I've read about a few people on Query Tracker's forum that had success after evaluating a query and resubmitting. I think that as long as you do it within reason, it actually shows grit.

Re: E-Publishing in general
*Sighs.* I understand that E-publishing is a cool enterprise, but I do hope that it doesn't get rid of the paperback. There is something about opening a book and feeling the pages that can not be beat.

It was unfortunate that they went bankrupt. I had planned to do some book signings and had to cancel because of it.

Does talking with an agent really help your case?
I was talking with a really fantastic agent on a blog, and we became friends. She asked what I was working on, and I told her, since it's the same genre that she deals with. Re: Nathan's Blog Post on Agents and Social Media
I personally like agents in the social media. I actually use it to connect and talk with them. In fact, even if my work doesn't get accepted, they actually help me by giving valuable information. It's actually humanized the whole querying process for me. I'll actually follow a blog of an agent for a...

Though we are 'starving artists' more often than not, I think that the time spent to write and produce a novel is worth more than a 99 cent rate. Of course, I do understand that it's great to have more pe...

I use Jacketflap, and It helped me some. It is only for childrens, young adult, and middle grade writers, though.

Re: Are Most Authors Women?
Just looked at my bookshelf, and I would have to say that it is really 50/50. Of course, I like fantasy and science fiction.
