Interesting notes....I'll have to pay attention to those scenes that I'm auto-ing on. I sometimes don't even realize when I am! Maybe tag them in the doc and then check to see any similarities in content, style, etc later for flaws....

Smaller advance = better looking sales record?

Hi Nathan,

I was just wondering: If and author get an offer, is it ever smart to ask for a smaller advance so that their end sales record looks a bit punchier (really just in that they will have a higher likelihood of earning out)?

Just been wondering on this one...

Question for you all...I've been slogging through a few scenes and passages in my WIP, but I'm wondering...When I'm semi-bored writing (not necessarily my idea, just when the writing has become as automatic as the typing) do we think that the reader is going to be bored stiff too?
