Beta reader for paranormal thriller

I have edited my book, Possessed, about 10 times at least and I think it would be good to have a fresh pair of eyes read it and let me know what they think of the storyline and characters (A bonus if you can find some grammar errors). It is just under 57,000 words. Here is a little excerpt: Adeline ...

Re: Do you read indie/self-pubbed books?

I have read a few books by indie authors and I actually enjoy them more than many traditionally published ones. Definitely follow book bloggers on twitter and sites like Word Press. There are a lot of avid book reviewers out there. Check out Brian James Freeman - he writes darker stuff and Lauren Wa...

Re: Do you have a new blog post?

I blog about my ponderings of whether I should go with CreateSpace or my own publishing company for my indie books.

Re: Word Alive Press - Opinions/Experiences

Thank you! I checked it out. It turns out they cost a lot. After some research, I have decided that self publishing is the way to go. Much more affordable and it is not so difficult to do as I had once thought. :)

Re: E-Publishers

It is great to know that e publishing has worked well for you so far. E books seem to be the big thing right now. :) I also hear a lot of success from those that go with small presses that do a combination of print and e books.

Word Alive Press - Opinions/Experiences

Has anyone here ever gone with Word Alive Press, or know someone well that has gone with them? I am considering this as an option and it seems like a reputable company (In business for over 30 years, good distribution for print books, etc.).

Re: Query - By the Sword (Fantasy) - 1st Revision

I worked on putting Talya`s voice in this query, and I put some more detail into it. Hope this one is a keeper . :) Dear Agent, Eighteen year old Talya`s main goal is to help her country bring down the Malinorian Empire. And Jalarn, the empire`s new young general, is at the top of her list of enemi...
