The Reddening by Adam Nevill. When I was 7 or 8 I had a significant fear of being kidnapped and sacrificed by a cult. The Anne of Green Gables series. I just loved Anne and everyone in Avonlea!
As an adult it blows my mind that the Anne of Green Gables series and the Little House on the Prairie series were set in the same time period. They’re so different!
