Re: Do you have a new blog post?
Ohmahgosh. I haven't been here in forever. What was I thinking? I really need to get back into the world where other writers are, though, so I figured this would be a good jumping off point. I've been multi-tasking a blog that I'm hoping to turn into a nonfiction work of sorts. It all sorta fell out...

Re: Do you have a new blog post?
I do! And I was SUPER excited about it last night, but I'm thinking maybe I was in a mild, hallucinogenic state. Read and comment if you'd like. Let me know what you think!

I like to think of myself as a bit of a photographer, too. I'm also a traditional artist (charcoal, pastels, etc) but sadly, I don't delve into those mediums too much lately. But here is a link to some pics and a few pieces of mine. Great idea, Sommer! http://s33.photobucket.com/albums/d61/mydearlad...

mmm... craizeballs! and thanks for the loan, margo! it was definitely needed. and just so everyone knows, i've set up a cozy little prom-esque photo op off in the corner with a cute little lattice arch, ornate pedestal and highly bedazzled Old Spice guy (for all the single folks out here tonight) wi...

Re: Help! My novel is on life support!
You know, funny you should mention that Evelyn, but I'm just in the midst of a short flash piece I embarked upon on a whim. And you're right - the more I've worried about it, the worse it's gotten. And I'll admit that I've felt like a bit of a failure for not being able to finish it (doesn't help th...

Help! My novel is on life support!
I loved my novel. Still love it. I love my characters, the chemistry between them and where I had hoped to take them. But then it happened. Someone made me think about a thing or two I hadn't thunk* before. And I lost my groove. I thought 'they're right! what was i thinking? this will never work thi...

Okay, whew! I'm glad I made it! And I'm also glad to see that no one has bedazzled Mr. Old Spice Guy. Is it okay if I undertake that project? And with the lighting in here and all the extra sparkle I figure I can get an awesome amateur photo shoot underway and have some nifty framed prints waiting f...

Re: LABOR DAY WEEKEND WRITE-OFF
Hey hey hey! No, it's not Fat Albert. I wanna play! I'll probably be working most of that weekend, but third shift lends itself to a bit of downtime now and again. I think I'll follow the 10k crowd. A new 10k either at the beginning or the end of my current wip.
