Re: Looking for Critique Partner/Writing Buddy YA Fiction
Willing! My stories are not specially-designed for YA but my Wattpad demographics tell me that is who reads and enjoys them, which is fine with me. Perhaps it is because the main character is a 9 year old pop star in the year 2025, called "The New Little Princess". There is a novel manuscr...

Re: New Member - Greetings from Brisbane, Australia
Welcome, Peter!
From a Kiwi who formerly lived in Brisbane for about 2 years (No, not on the dole!).
If you want to do critique exchange on your finished upper middle grade book and my short stories (maybe later book) send a message.

Re: critique partner for young adult fiction
The project is a short story anthology now and soon a novel (manuscript almost finished). In the novel, some Chapters are short, some are long but you can specify the number of words you want to read at any given time. You don't have to read full Chapters at one go. I did not conceive the story as f...

Re: New member intro
No one is welcoming us, so let's start welcoming each other! I'm from New Zealand but working in Bangladesh now, trying to set up English-medium schools for ordinary kids in a country where English-medium can make the difference between success and failure yet is a luxury for the rich only. However,...

Welcome, Roger!

1. MOON KID (2018-2021) -1- She was not there. She had gone to sleep singing. She was singing her own songs with words that sometimes went together and sometimes didn’t. Now, when I passed by her bedroom, I heard nothing. I thought I would open the door and see her sleeping in a ray of moonlight. I ...

I have just joined today. I am a 63 year old former Professor who has now turned to fiction writing. I am also a New Zealander working in Bangladesh to make English-medium education available at an affordable price, in a country where it opens doors for young people but is a luxury for most. I am ma...

Yes, I am willing to exchange critiques with you. In return, I would ask you to critique my short stories: the main character is popular with teens on wattpad so I guess they are YA. They are fantasy or science fiction or horror, sometimes a mix. Most of them take place after 2019 so they are specul...

Re: Need help with my Exorcist/withnail and I mash up
Yes, I am willing to exchange critiques with you. Your novella sounds like good fun. In return, I would ask you to critique 20,000 words of my short stories for my anthology project. The first one is "Moon Kid" (8900 words), which also qualifies as a novella according to some publishers' d...

Yes, I am willing to exchange critiques with you. I have several critique partners but always look for more and better! My short stories are also speculative: not other worlds but our world in the future. It is a solarpunk world where we have beaten global warming. They are fantasy or science fictio...

Re: Looking for a YA Fantasy Critique Partner!
Yes, I am willing to exchange critiques with you. Of course, reading 100,000 words will take some time but it can be done. In return, I would ask you to critique my short stories: the main character is popular with teens on wattpad so I guess they are YA. They are fantasy or science fiction or horro...
