Re: 2013 Bransford Blog Tournament Challenge
Veela must be talking about Kentucky and Louisville. Don't worry, Veela, Pitino ain't making the final four! I'm hoping not. As a Kentucky fan who lives in Louisville...yeah I just don't want to cope with that. If anybody says anything rude I plan to tell them to talk to me when they have half as m...

Re: 2013 Bransford Blog Tournament Challenge
This year has been a terrible terrible basketball year for my team and I've not watched much out of conference. BUT it's on! I know who is most likely to win but I refuse to put my least favorite team as the champion. Nope. Can't. Won't. Nope.

Re: 4th Annual Blog Bracket Challenge!
I'm now 8th which surprised me. My team made the Final Four and right now that's the MOST IMPORTANT THING!!!!!!! GO BIG BLUE! My bracket has a lot hinging on this UNC vs Kansas game. But I'm pretty sure I'm going to be in the top half and my standards for success are pretty low so I'm happy with tha...

Re: 4th Annual Blog Bracket Challenge!
This year is bad for brackets. My East region has only one miss but EVERYTHING ELSE. Ugly. I had both Missouri & Duke going to Elite 8. But hey my Wildcats won today! (Despite a ref who I shouted at for an entire game. Lots of shouting in my house tonight).

Re: Bransford Blog Bracket Challenge!!!
I'm so excited about the UK win. Last night I called one of my best friends (who lives in another state) just because I NEEDED to talk basketball.
It's a great day to be a Kentuckian. And I love that our lone senior was carrying us. <3 Jorts (aka Josh Harrellson)

I think in brackets this will be a great year for non-basketball people. Its just so random!charlotte49ers wrote:If I can just stay on the first page like I am now, I will be at peace. I've already crushed my husband's bracket and considering basketball is his *thing*…yeah, I'm happy! :D

Re: Bransford Blog Bracket Challenge!!!
Ashelynn Sanford is probably not going to be beatable. All but one of her Elite 8 teams are still alive. And yeah, my bracket sucks too. I went way too aggressive trying to grab upsets this year. Yes, I had the Gauchos beating the Gators in the first round. Yes the Gators are probably going to make...

Re: Bransford Blog Bracket Challenge!!!
My bracket is shot, Waaay shot. So I'm going to go ahead and root for VCU. I quit doing CPR on my bracket and planned a funeral sometime yesterday. Now I'm just rooting for ALL the underdogs. Butler, Arizona, VCU--who cares anymore! I was a little heartbroken that Washington didn't pull out the ups...

Re: Bransford Blog Bracket Challenge!!!
Even though I had Pitt going quite far (elite 8 or Final 4) I will ALWAYS root for Butler. Shelvin Mack is a Lexington KY native. As long as our Kentucky boys don't go to an enemy (L-ville & Tennessee being the biggest) we still love them. Kinda kills me that UK didn't recruit Mack though. Serio...

Re: Bransford Blog Bracket Challenge!!!
Does anyone else really love the stories in college basketball? Like players who improve drastically and stuff like that? I feel like people underestimate the stories in sports. My example this year is: Josh Harrellson from University of Kentucky. He's been incredible. At the beginning of the year t...

Re: Bransford Blog Bracket Challenge!!!
I'm jealous of the west coast people. I've been staying up till midnight watching games this week (that plus the time change made for a rough work week).

Re: Bransford Blog Bracket Challenge!!!
Yesterdays were better but the VCU vs Georgetown game is interesting and Washing vs Georgia has been a battle so far. VCU G'town might be interesting if you picked VCU. For me it's excruciating. Huskies/Dawgs is pretty good though, you're right. I live in GA, but I'm from Seattle, so I just support...

Games haven't been too exciting today, here's hoping the evening games bring some action. You West Coast people get to enjoy so many more games! I do agree though, nothing like yesterday so far.
