that the characters were lost to me. I couldn't find Peeta anywhere. And I get it, I really do - he was *supposed* to be lost, erased, a different person - but it was still unsettling. that's my feeling in a nutshell. lol @DTW--I had the same reaction of "at least she didn't kill Gale." Sheesh. SC did seem to be on the warpath this go-round. Appropriate, but still. I (like some) am still waiting for my disappointment to pass. Don't want ot be Owen Glieberman reviewing Moulin Rouge... But so far, I still...

everything Ishta said, except add "Behold the power of marketing ." I had preschool-aged kids when I picked up Twilight , and it was ONLY because I saw it reviewed in Entertainment Weekly and my curiosity was piqued. (Plus I kinda dug the cover.) Yep. Kudos to her; SM did a great job--fun ...
