I'm putting out an e-book and I need some opinions.
I'm thinking about acknowledging the guy who did my artwork, but I'm not sure if I should. To those who have e-books out, did you acknowledge them? Or do you think not to bother?
I need some opinions. I don't think the guy will be mad if I don't acknowledge him, i just don't know what to do.
Anyways, if I do acknowledge him, should I put it at the end or the beginning?
any help would be awesome! thx!

Re: Acknowledgements in e-books
Hi Taylor. Good luck with your ebook.
Edited because I forgot to say this -- yes, absolutely thank and credit the person who did the artwork, and thank anyone else you want, just like you would in a print book.
Edited again to say you can create live links, so someone can click on the artist, company, etc. and go to their website.
I would set the format something like this below (you might not have all these sections). You could put a dedication before the Table of Contents, or you could put it on the Acknowledgments page. I think the principle is to put as much front matter in the back so people don't pick it up as part of the free sample.
Cover art
Title page
Table of Contents, to include (and make everything a live link to that section):
Chapters
Bibliography
Acknowledgments
About the Author
Copyright (put cover design by, cover photo by, published by, etc. here, too)
