I'm on Tumblr!

The blog died...but so did I...and now I'm alive again! OMG.

I'm going to set my own goal, probably 25,000 instead of 50. There is no way I could make it to 50,000 words... Too busy... But I'm definitely going to try!

I want to try! I've heard of it but never had enough motivation to do it. Maybe this year :)

I did the summer session because I knew I would never have time in Nov. I won though!

This will be my sixth year of NaNo, my second year as an ML for my region, and hopefully my third win...once I figure out what I want to do. Kind of annoyed at the whole site relaunch just before NaNo 2011, though mostly because they had to launch it without stuff, including the regional email features so freaking out a bit over not being able to email my wrimos :-(

Me!!!!
I'm adamant to get my 50k and I won't stop until I eventually win (that's actually irrelevant since I don't think I'll ever NOT do Nano, win or lose)

I'd like to try again this year. I don't know if I'll be able to pull it off, but it's definitely fun :D

Not yet - tempted, but can't put all my focus into writing.

Hopefully next year, and I'll cheer you guys on! Yay! :D

I can't this year because I'm still judging for the Cybils (OH MY GOD I CANNOT READ FAST ENOUGH.)

However, I am championing all the participants I know and love all throughout the month of November like I did last year. I'm posting every day of the month something little and quick but encouraging and I'm setting up a NaNo Champions club to get people not participating to cheer on those who are. Like last year, I'll create a thread here on the boards to repost my NaNo cheerleading posts.
May the word counts be ever in your favor. http://www.sommerleigh.com

Sommer, that's very cool of you! I still remember last year and your daily threads. It was AWESOME!

I am! My inner editor has squashed my productivity to zero over the past year, so I'm relishing the opportunity to lock him (yes, he -- I call him Inner Ed) in a closet and give myself permission to write junk. So after...

...winning in '08 with the first half of a legit novel...
...'winning' in '09 with 20k of a poorly-planned story and various fragments of other stories...
...dropping off the map for '10...

...I am pleased to say I am back in the game!

Now I'm hoping like crazy that I get enough planning done in time so that I don't have a repeat of '09. :?

I'm doing it this year! I signed up last year, but a new job starting Nov. 4th got in the way and resulted in all of 7000 words. I'm so ready for this year! I have a draft that just needs a bunch of words thrown on it.
