Authors For Japan benefit auction

Post by bgannon » March 15th, 2011, 8:17 am

Hi everyone,

I'm going to cross-post just this once (forgive me). Author Keris Stainton has organized a benefit auction for Japan at
http://authorsforjapan.wordpress.com/, with all proceeds going to the Red Cross. Bidding is open now and closes at 8pm GMT, Sunday 3/20.
(Bidding is in GBP but US bidders are welcome!)

There are 150 fantastic items available, including manuscript and query critiques, first editions, coaching and dedications. I'm offering design/development/launch of a writing-related blog or website, including search engine optimization and integration of your social media accounts. Please pop over and check it out, and help spread the word to anyone who might be interested. It's a win/win situation.

Author Maureen Johnson hosted one of the weekend for Shelterbox. They raised $16,000 in just a couple of days. It was pretty awesome. I love when authors dig in and readers come out in droves to support a good cause.
May the word counts be ever in your favor. http://www.sommerleigh.com
Be nice, or I get out the Tesla cannon.
