Your Writing Space
I've been doing features on other writers for my blog this past month. I asked them all a few of the same questions, but I also had them send me a pic of their writing space.
I did my own feature a couple of days ago ;) (So I could answer those questions and post my own pic.) A lovely writer from these forums suggested I start a thread...
Hello, thread. :)
Here is my writing space.
Your turn...Let's see what your writing space looks like. :)

Re: Your Writing Space
Wow! Your space looks so neat and organized. I am too embarrassed to post my pic. I write in my kitchen, which also doubles as a homework room for my kids, in addition to my bedroom, the library, the car at car line pickup time. If only I can carve out a little niche specifically for myself...

Sneaking suspicion my desk may resemble Robin's. I'd post a picture, but I can't find the camera under the clutter.

Re: Your Writing Space
Bah, I had just cleaned and picked that day to take the pic. ;) My other features showed kitchens, diners, couches, recliners... :)
Re: Your Writing Space
Hey, no cats? Has no one mentioned that they have some cats lying around their writing space?
I don't either, but it's so common that I thought I was the exception :-)

Does this count? It's a nice airy space. No cats, though. :P
Re: Your Writing Space
Someone tell me how to post a picture on here and I'll show you my space.
(And xouba, you can't see it in my picture but I usually do have cats laying around my office!!)

Re: Your Writing Space
I love your space. Cozy and uncluttered--my dream writing space.
As for mine, you really don't want to see it. The dining room table, complete with bib, washcloth, highchair tray covered in toast crumbs, and an empty milk cup. Posting a pic of mine would require removing butt from chair to find the camera (after I clean, of course), and it's nap time, which means I do not move until I meet my word count or the baby wakes up (it's usually the baby). Speaking of which, I really need to disable wireless and start writing. And I wonder why I have trouble meeting my word count... hmmm.

Sorry, it's not pretty, but it's the best I could do.
There's so much you can't see in this photo, but I think y'all get the idea. I like to be surrounded by all of my favorite things, so everything in that room has a story. It's my room of sacred belongings.

xouba: I've had cats, but I've found that this girl is my favorite. ;)
Down the well: I think mine would show food on the brain. ;) I'm hungry and way too interested in pie at the moment. :D
bellacatalina: I should have left mine more messy and normal looking. ;) But I do love a day of writing once the desk is cleared off. (Now you -- GO WRITE! ;))
dios4vida: Room of sacred belongings. I like that. ;) And your chair looks way more comfy.

Wow I am jealous of you all there is no way I am sharing my pic. I actually sit in my recliner in the living room as I feel more comfortable. With 5 inside cats and 9 huskies that are inside and outside( they have a breeze way ) his is the best place for me. Plus I can watch my 1 year old better that way.
