Agent Search Spreadsheet

Post by PhilipIsles » December 3rd, 2010, 3:56 pm

Browsing through Mr. Bransford's forums for the first time, I found this section and thought I'd send out the worksheet I made while conducting my agent search. I discuss it in a bit more detail here. The actual file is available on my website in the tools section.

It helps keep track of every agent you submit to, and allows you to update status, dates, etc.
Hope it helps!

I use something similar. I highlight agents at the same agency, list date queried, email/address, agency, agent's name (of course), submission guidelines, and status of query. It makes me feel better to see it all laid out like that in a simple form, although my sister said she read somewhere that some agents think it's best not to do this. I like being organized.
