Thanksgiving wishes and despair

Post by abc » November 21st, 2012, 11:18 pm

Hello! Happy Thanksgiving! I wish I liked this holiday more. Anyone else dreading their required travel and in-law visiting? I'm telling myself that the 6 hour car trip will mean lots of writing and reading (to make me feel better about the cramped space, arguments over music, and road food). Maybe this a perfect opportunity to reread The Corrections.

Staying in my hometown this year. I don't even have to cook because we're going to some friends' house. It's going to be nice. I feel for you , though. We usually travel and the weather hardly ever cooperates. Hope your Thanksgiving is a happy one.

~ Ludwig van Beethoven
