I'm heading to New York in a couple of weeks and I was wondering if there was any way to take advantage of being at the center of so much publishing.
Of course, I don't want to stalk the agents I'm querying or show up unprofessionally. But does anyone know of any public events where I might hear some agents or editors speak? Any other advice on cool literary things to do while I'm there?
Thanks!

Check out Books of Wonder!
Arguably one of the most famous children's book stores in the world. They have signings and events all the time, not to mention a fabulous little bakery inside where you can get cupcakes!
