IT'S LOCKED?!?!!! Sonofamotherlessgoat!

Okay, who put Notre Dame (*cough* Caitlin) and Creighton (*cough* Sommer) to win?

And Syracuse? Really? Isn't their Center out on academic probation or something? Man. I *totally* should've logged on sooner. :(

Off to throw myself a pity party...
Creighton is the only team I've seen play and also they are from Omaha so it seemed as good a pick as any!

First place! Woot! Though Creighton and FSU about gave me a heart attack.

Let's see how long it lasts... :D

Oh man, Missouri! (my poor, depressed husband). I'm out. Actually, Out with a capital O. I'll have to wait for the next installment of Jacob Wonderbar to come out just like everyone else.

Wow I'm doing so much better than I did last year. Go random choices, go!

I can't believe how epically my bracket is busted.

Lol. I'm Irish, what can I say?

I chose my teams based on the incredibly mathematical algorithm, otherwise known as randomness. :D

This year is bad for brackets. My East region has only one miss but EVERYTHING ELSE. Ugly. I had both Missouri & Duke going to Elite 8. But hey my Wildcats won today! (Despite a ref who I shouted at for an entire game. Lots of shouting in my house tonight).

You know, even though I haven't watched a single minute of college basketball or read about it this year, I really thought I'd be doing better than I am at this point. I had this blind optimism that somehow I'd get lucky. Strange phenomenon. Oh well.

Yeah, that hope is half the fun of March Madness. :)

My bracket is also ridiculously screwed up, so now I'm cheering NC State on! Two of my husband's old college coaches are assistants there, so the text messages back and forth have been hilariously awesome. I'm so happy for them!

Yaay, I'm making my "move". I'm up from 69th to 28th. I wish I knew I'd be this lucky. I would've bought a lottery ticket instead of filling out brackets.

Wow, I'm up to 12th. This is usually when it all turns to poo for me. Right when I have momentum. But maybe I need to start working on my query. I'm still 6 chapters away from being done so I haven't given it a thought. It would feel weird doing a query before I was done, kinda like doing my taxes before April 15th. That kind of punctuality's for better people than me. Viva la procrastination!
