My strategy was to assign each team 1 point if I've ever heard of them, an extra point if they're from the Midwest, and take them all the way if they're in Wisconsin. It wasn't as great of a strategy as it sounded at first ;) Worked for me with Ohio, not so much for Marquette. Plus, I somehow messed up and took UNLV over Iowa (I blame it on trigger finger, like I do all my typing mistakes). GO BADGERS (one down, three to go)!!!

Huzzah! Tied for 42nd place with 8 billion other people, although I just passed Mr. Nathan himself in scoring. Wonder if that brings any advantage at query time?

ESPN has 5.4 million brackets this year. Earlier today two dorks had every game correct. As I type this there are no more perfect brackets, but 12 who've missed just one game (27 of 28).

I'm one of the 8 billion tied for 42 place with you! I didn't win last year but was consoled by the fact that I scored higher than Nathan -- so now, that's really my only goal each year. :)

This could possibly be one of the worst brackets I have ever put together.
I think I finished in the top 10 last year.
I probably be in the bottom 10 this year.

I already have two elite eight teams down. :/

But my Final Four are all still going strong!

And I was doing so well until Villanova stuck a knife in my back. A knife, I tell you. With serrated edges. And all sorts of pointy hooks. And then the buggers twisted it.

I really thought they had a chance to come out of a weak bracket. But it seems the bracket was mostly weak because of them. Grrrr. Though, well, there was a bit of luck in that crazy off-the-backboard three by St. Mary's. I, um, don't think that was intended on the shot. Fate, it seems, has it in for me, though. And Villanova. But mostly me.

Ink, I think you and I must have similar brackets, because I'm dying with that Villanova loss. Mind you, I really know nothing about any of this. And yet, here I am checking my brackets as though I really knew something about basketball. It's that competitive urge I try to keep hidden and peeks out on occasion, me thinks.

And N Iowa is beating Kansas? Is that allowed? My bookie, er brother, assured me that some team starting with the letter K would be in the final four.

Go Gonzaga! Any team that sounds like cheese has to win, right?

And down goes the Giant to wee little David. I don't even care about my bracket because this years tournament has had so many twists and turns. The entertainment value matters more!

How about that Farokamesh??? (Talk about the most awesome name) And then the guy that looks like the werewolf? Go Northern Iowa!

My husband is a big Mizzou fan and he hates Kansas, so he's in Heaven right now. Pretty exciting! I love all the swarthy tattoo guys on UNI. Corn fed!

Today was a happy day for me. Not just because Kentucky won, but because former walk-on Mark Krebs who is a senior who mainly warms the bench scored a 3 during the NCAA tournament.

I love Mark Krebs so much. Made the day pretty much perfect.
