Cliche Story Settings
In movies as well as books you see a backdrop of Central Park, NY. Is this becoming a cliche setting? I'm writing a story and was trying to think of the most crowded place I could think of in the States, and of course NY popped into my mind. Part of the story is placed in Central Park, but is this a mistake? Perhaps I should be more creative?

I don't think it's as much a question of the places you choose but what you do with them - you can choose a common place and make it your own, or go another direction. If it works it works!brykatemma wrote:In movies as well as books you see a backdrop of Central Park, NY. Is this becoming a cliche setting?
