Launching a freelance editing career
Nathan, I'm trying to start a career as a freelance editor. I've already graduated from the University of Denver Publishing Institute, but didn't want to move away from Florida. Do you have any advice on how to build an initial client base and develop a reputation?

Re: Launching a freelance editing career
Hi Matt, I think some experience working with traditional publishers or agents could really help. Having inside experience can be invaluable as you pitch yourself to potential clients. You might look for reading and/or editing jobs that can be accomplished remotely if you're not ready to move from Florida. Good luck!MattLarkin wrote:Nathan, I'm trying to start a career as a freelance editor.
