With this year's CreateSpace offer through NaNo, you need to buy a proof copy and pay for shipping to get your 5 free copies. From what I can tell, this means letting them give your book an ISBN and publish it, even if you choose to do it privately.
Doing this apparently means giving them the first publication rights to my novel.
My question for you is simply: Will doing this hurt my chances of getting published normally?
