Hmm... I guess I kind of do. But there are books I read for pleasure that I just don't write, like sci-fi/fantasy. I love reading it, but I don't write it.

That said, I will always read books in the genre of my current WIP for research purposes. But, to me, that's a different kind of reading because I am constantly analyzing.

So, I guess what I'm saying is that I don't write the genre that I love to read, but I read in the genre I'm currently writing. Umm, yeah, clear as mud. :)

I read just about everything (nearly always fiction), and I expect that by the time I die, I will have written in almost every genre as well - even if they're short stories.
