I just found this thread. I revealed some big news on my blog today. More big news to follow tomorrow, and then back to my usual ridiculousness.

I've never seen the Game of Thrones TV series, but I'm totally obsessed with the books. I'm on the third one right now. I don't think I could stomach watching all the stuff play out on TV (heads on stakes, etc.). But I highly recommend the novels.

My YA book, STRAIGHTJACKET, is about mental illness! It's being released in about a month. Both main characters are struggling with some issues -- Anna is suffering from depression and panic attacks, and Caleb is delusional and has catatonic stupors.
