Nonononononono no. You don't read your query letter. You tell the other person, briefly, what your novel is about. You should be able to do it in a couple sentences. There is a difference between a pitch and a query. If your comparisons are obscure, don't bring them up.

You can't distinctly hear the difference between "think coming" and "thing coming" unless a person deliberately slows down and separates the two words by enunciating them with a pause between. The difference is too slight in normal conversational pronunciation. That's why people ...
